Varun Dhawan Is Following Salman Khan's Footsteps

Varun Dhawan is all set for his upcoming movie Badlapur, which has inspired his character by Salman Khan’s Tere Naam. Varun has featured rowdy character like ‘Radhe’s’ in the movie Tere Naam.

Varun Dhawan stated that, his rowdy character inspires him from Salman Khan’s Tere Naam. Varun Dhwan has always tried to follow Salman Khan’s footsteps and be successful like him.

As far as my look in Badlapur is concerned, my elder brother Rohit was a reference point. I thought to myself that when I age, I might end up looking like him. So the bearded look actually came from Rohit,” said Varun.

After his second movie Mein Tera Hero, it has clearly known that how much Varun Dhawan is maintaing his body and style like Dabangg Khan.

Just like Salman Khan, Varun Dhawan goes shirtless in his movies flaunting his body like him. Even in one of his movies, Varun Dhawan has copied trademark step of Salman Khan in his song.

While Salman Khan is known to launch new comers for his films, is he going to come up with Varun Dhawan next?

Salman even said that Varun’s the next big thing and that he has a lot of talent. He praises Varun’s work and that’s a big compliment for him.

There is a lot you can connect Varun Dhawan with Salman Khan. Even Mein Tera Hero, which did not work well, released its trailer with Salman Khan’s Jai Ho!

Varun Dhawan started his director as assisant director with his dad David Dhawan. During the shootings he always took inspiration by Salman Khan by looking at the way he projects himself.

Varun Dhawan’s Badlapur packed with full action and thrill is releasing February 20, 2015.
