Salman Khan’s presence in Marathi film Lai Bhaari boosted it’s prospects a lot. Many went to watch the film to see Salman mouth Marathi which doesn’t happen too often. It seems Salman too liked this bit experience in Riteish Deshmukh’s debut Marathi film so much so that he now wants a full-fledged role.
Recently, Salman Khan released the music of Sanngto Aika and spoke to the press. When asked, if he is interested to do a meaty role in Marathi films, Salman said that he is very much interested to do a lead role. He also added that till recently, Marathi films were ignored deeply. But he feels it has much scope and potential to reach great heights. He also thinks it needs more awareness.
Well, we love Salman Bhau in Lai Bhaari. However little he was seen in film was a treat to the eye. With him in a lead role, the particular Marathi film will only turn grander. But we wonder what would he play in the films. In Hindi films, he plays himself, Salman the superstar, donning various garbs. So would he settle for a similar larger-than-life character in Marathi films too? We wonder…
