Sunidhi Chauhan croons Oye Oye for Double Dhamaal

MUMBAI: Double Dhamaal will have singer Sunidhi Chauhan crooning the hit Tridev number – Oye Oye!

As was reported earlier by Businessofcinema.com, producers Reliance Entertainment and Maruti International had officially bought the rights from T-Series of the hit song and have remade it.

The song has been remixed by music director Anand Raj Anand and choreographed by Ganesh Acharya, who interestingly was a group dancer in the original hit by Kalyanji Anandji.

The original Oye Oye song starred Naseeruddin Shah and Sonam in memorable costumes, making it one of the most popular retro songs till date. Double Dhamaal’s Oye Oye sees the entire cast in all their funny getups and costumes, right from Arshad Warsi as the Punjabi Ghanta Singh, Ashish Chowdhry in his girl avatar, to Riteish Deshmukh as a pot bellied Gujarati man and as a Boney M African lookalike, dancing with Sanjay Dutt, Mallika Sherawat and Kangana Ranaut.

Produced by Ashok Thakeria and Indra Kumar, in association with Reliance Entertainment, Double Dhamaal is slated to release on 24 June.
