South super star Rajinikanth has been invited by the makers of the film ‘Akhil’ starring Telugu star Nagarjuna’s son Akhil. If reports are true, then Rajinikanth will soon be introducing Akhil to the Tamil industry with his latest flick ‘Akhil’ which is being dubbed in Tamil for the audiences. If the same happens, then it would definitely be the biggest boost to Akhil’s career in the Tamil industry as who better to introduce you than super star Rajinikanth himself?
Earlier a source close to the film had stated, “Producer C. Kalyan has acquired the rights of the Tamil dubbed version of the film. He’s planning an event to officially introduce Akhil to Tamil industry and he’s invited Rajinikanth to grace this occasion.” It would definitely be an honour for the film’s team of Rajinikanth actually decides to grace the event with his presence. Rajinikanth is currently busy with the shoot of his next flick ‘Kabali’ with Ranjith.

Rajinikanth will be seen playing a double role in ‘Kabali’ and the new posters of the film see the actor in a handsome lean avatar. The actor will be seen as a Malaysian cop as well as an underworld don in the film. ‘Kabali’ will be shot in countries like Malaysia, Thailand and Hong Kong. Rest of the shoot will be finished in Chennai and overall the schedule has been fixed for span of four months. Will Thalaivar be able to squeeze some time out for Akhil is the question now.
The film ‘Akhil’ has an impressive cast of handsome star Akhil Akkineni, Sayesha Saigai, Bollywood actor Mahesh Manjrekar and the king of comedy Brahmanandam among others. The film has been penned and directed by V.V. Vinayak. The film is set to release on October 21, 2015.
