Amitabh Bachchan And Abhishek Bachchan Into Legal Trouble For Insulting National Flag

After Aishwarya Rai Bachchan had caught herself into trouble for a jewellery print ad and recently after a legal notice was sent to the actress for Sarabjit Singh’s biopic, and now its father in law Amitabh Bachchan and husband Abhishek Bachchan into legal trouble. Bollywood’s megastar Amitabh Bachchan is yet again in legal trouble and this time along with his son Abhishek Bachchan. A case is filed against father and son for covering their bodies with national flag, which is an insulting manner.

Reportedly, a complainant named Chetan Dhiman has filed a case in Ghaziabad court saying that the actors were seen wrapping national flag during India-Pakistan world cup match in Adelaide on February 15, 2015.

According to the reports, the lawyer of the complainant said that the actors have insulted country’s reputation by this act, which was witnessed by complainant and other four witnesses. The case is filed under the Prevention of Insults to National Honour Act, 1971, and the Flag Code of India, 2002, and both should be summoned before the court to face trial.

Recently, Amitabh Bachchan was in legal trouble for the Maggi controversy. FIR was registered against Big B along with actresses Preity Zinta and Madhuri Dixit for endorsing Maggi brand, which has found to be dangerous product after the product was researched by Food Safety and Drug Administration.

This is not for the first time; even cricketers who beat the joy of winning are seen draped with the national flag over the shoulders on the field. However, such acts and instances were not witnessed earlier.
