Aamir Khan speaks up on doing the Rakesh Sharma biopic.
Today Aamir Khan celebrates his 52nd birthday. At a media interaction, after he cut the cake at a press conference, Aamir revealed something.
There have been rumours that Aamir Khan was approached for a biopic. The film titled Saare Jahan Se Achcha, a tribute to Rakesh Sharma-the first Indian to fly into space. A tribute to Rakesh Sharma’s famous line which he spoke while describing India from the space.
When Aamir was asked about doing the film he said, “The only film that I am working on is Thugs. That’s the only thing I am working on. I haven’t signed anything else.” The actor also revealed that he will start shooting for the film in June.
Earlier, reports were also doing rounds that Dangal actor Aamir Khan was considered for one of the lead roles in Sanjay Dutt biopic. Reportedly, Aamir met Hirani and writer Abhijat Joshi for the narration.
But Aamir was shocked after narration as he thought Hirani was coming to narrate the role of Sanjay Dutt. However, the role offered to Aamir was of Sanjay Dutt’s father Sunil Dutt. Aamir Khan immediately refused to play the role saying he is not interested in playing the role of his father.
