Bollywood’s handsome hunk Salman Khan, who is riding high on success for his recent released film Bajrangi Bhaijaan, ignored to react on his controversial tweets defending 1993 serial bomb blast convict Yakub Memon who was given death penalty recently.
Recently at the press conference in Karjat, Salman Khan who was criticized for supporting 1993 serial bomb blast convict Yakub Memon’s death sentence, ignored to speak on the controversy where even political parties were upset with the actors tweets. Dabangg Khan said that he would talk about it someday later and not now. The actor chose to speak only about Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
“There would be a nicer time to talk about it. We will do this at a later time,” I would love to answers about it but right now let’s keep it to Bajrangi Bhaijaan,” the actor promised to talked about it later someday.
Well, Salman Khan’s father Salim Khan who plays an important role as an advisor in Salman’s life had asked the actor to retract his controversial tweets defending 1993 serial bomb blast convict Yakub Memon who was given death penalty.

Soon after his father’s advise, Salman Khan deleted all the tweets where the actor had called Yakub Memon an ‘innocent’ and that his brother Tiger Memon should have been hanged. Even Salim Khan who believes to keep his words straightforward said that his son has been targeted, as he is a celebrity and not because of his religion. Soon after the controversy Salim Khan came publicly and talked about it in an interview.
Salim Khan, a noted film scriptwriter, clarified that Salman’s tweets were meaningless, however he is being targeted for celebrity status. He also said that his son should have not tweeted about something he has very little knowledge, it was his foolishness.
According to him, Salim Khan noted saying that many people had opposed the court’s verdict for the death sentence to Yakub Memon, but he think Salman’s way of putting things was a bit childish and because of it Salman’s celebrity status is being taken advantage of.
Also many political parties who thought that his tweets pointed the judicial and government laws, protested outside Salman Khan’s Bandra residence. Political parties including BJP, Shiv Sena and others were seen on the roads with some billboards and posters of Salman Khan’s films. The protest enede ended after the actor deleted all the tweets.
