Hollywood hunk Hugh Jackman has recently been diagnosed with basal cell carcinoma. Basal Cell Carcinoma is the most common type of cancer that occurs it is caused by long-term exposure to ultraviolet (UV) radiation from sunlight.
In order to get the public aware of this condition, Hugh Jackman posted his photo to Instagram with a bandaged nose and a tweet which read: “Deb said to get the mark on my nose checked. Boy, was she right! I had a basil cell carcinoma. Please don’t be foolish like me. Get yourself checked. And USE sunscreen!!!”
The Wolverine acknowledged his wife Deorra-Lee for the diagnosis, who pestered him into getting the mark on his nose checked.
Hugh Jackman will next be seen in X-Men: Days of Future Past which expected to release in India in July, 2014.
