Aamir Khan is a busy man as he has his hands full. Year 2013 ends with the release of his much awaited Dhoom 3. Next year his fans would have Peekay (P.K.) to look forward to. Amidst all of this Aamir is busy gearing up for the second season of Satyamev Jayate on Star Plus.
Though, his only regret is that he has negated his family and has not been able to spend quality time with them.
“I have always felt that I am not spending enough time with my children and family. I spent twenty five years with this guilt. The problem is that I get so lost in my work that I don’t realize it,” said Aamir Khan.
On his role in Dhoom 3, Aamir had to really train hard physically as it required him to essay a role of a gymnast and thus have a lean, but flexible body for his character. Aamir requested Aditya Chopra to delay the film by a year, as he required that time to get into shape and the results are apparently visible.
Aamir Khan spent two years learning tap-dancing, bodybuilding and gymnastics for Dhoom 3. The only reason he agreed to do the film was the fact that he fell in love with the story, which has more emotions this time.
Aamir attributes his learnings to the failures and feels sad when people lose money on any project. Aamir strongly feels that whoever buys a ticket to his film, should not go back feeling that his money was wasted.
About joining politics, Aamir Khan is very clear that there is no need to join politics to bring in change in the society. Aamir is the face of Incredible India campaign and is a UNICEF ambassador to promote child nutrition.
Aamir feels that every person should be politically conscious and at least have a basic understanding of social issues, because only then they will be able to make the informed choices. Aamir strongly feels that he can bring a lot of change in society through his films. He feels that his communication skills and his storytelling capabilities are his strengths.
Cheers to Aamir Khan![/tps_header]
