Come togather MANORANJAN (The Entertainment), a film which takes a satirical, yet realistic look at bollywood in an entertaining manner, marks the union of two different cultures
for the first time.
Two theatre stalwarts, Vijay Raaz and Makarand Deshpande will be seen portraying interesting roles in the same film for the first time. Background wise, Vijay Raaz is a former student of the National School of Drama and a prominent Delhi (North) theatre figure while Makarand Deshpande is his western counterpart and a theatre bigwig from Mumbai.
Vijay Raaz plays Subbu, a star-secretary who dreams of becoming a big film producer while Makarand Deshpande portrays the role of a C-grade horror film maker, Karu Pandey, who also
sets out to make a big mainstream film. This common motive brings the two together in the film which is written and
directed by Karaan Choudhary
