Vivek Agnihotri signs football consultant Andy Ansah to choreograph Goal

Mumbai: As Hindi movies get bigger and slicker, more and more filmmakers are using the services of foreign technicians. Western technical expertise is slowly filtering into Bollywood.

A while ago Farhan Akhtar got in Christopher Popp to shoot his film Lakshya, and now Joe Jennings has been consulted by Akhtar for his film Don, Andrew Belletty has also designed the sound for Don. Vipul Shah has since then signed cinematographer Peter Fields for Namaste London. Stunt director Todd Ryan Jones, who has worked for several television series in the US,
has got Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar to perform stunts in Jaan-e-mann.

Now Andy Ansah the ace football choreographer has come in to help Vivek Agnihotri’s kick off the UTV produced
Goal with John Abraham. “I had to sign Andy because we do not have expertise in India to deal with sports.
Ansah has already helped shoot commercials and films based on soccer” , says Vivek Agnihotri.

Andy has TV series Byker Grove, Dream Team, Men Only, Footballer’s Wives and
films like MIT Murder Investigation Team, Goal and Goal 2 Living the Dream to his credit. In other words, Andy Ansah has struck another goal with Vivek Agnihotri.
