Mumbai :After the success of Rang De Basanti, UTV has launched their new production titled Metro with Anurag Basu. Anurag had directed Gangster earlier this year. Anurag will be directing as well as writing the screenplay of the film. Talking about the story of the film Anurag says, “Metro is a story about people living in metro city. After Gangster, Anurag has again paired with Shiney, Kangana and Pritam, but Mukesh Bhatt is missing. This time around what made him choose UTV? “I wanted to grow. I wanted to take charge of the production of this film and when I met UTV they were ready to offer me that.”
He further adds. “I still have very good rapport with Mukesh Bhatt. In fact he was even present with his full family on the first day of the shoot. Till date if I have any problem while shooting he is them first person I call.” Anurag is directing his next film Suicide Bomber with Mukesh Bhatt which will start in November end.

Sharman, “Metro didn’t happen because of Rang De…Anurag had approached me for this fim before the release of his Gangster. In Metro I am playing the role of a young executive in the film and am paired opposite Kangana.” After having explored the corporate life Kay Kay Menon is all set to explore human emotions in a metro. He says “The name Anurag has a lot of relevance in my life. I had started my career with Anurag Kashyap and today I am with Anurag Basu.”
