Trek, Safari and lots of Adventure in CCIL’s Wildlife Tourism Property ‘Bush-Betta’ With Pooja Bedi in Bandipur Forest, Karnataka
Mumbai, 6th May 2006: Country Club India Ltd. (CCIL) Celebrated the First anniversary of it’s Wildlife Tourism Property “Country Club Bush-Betta” with a two day adventurous trek and wildlife safari with their brand ambassador Pooja Bedi and prestigious members in Bandipur Forest, Karnataka on 27 th & 28 th of April. The two little angels who joined the trek with Pooja were her children Omar and Alia.
Country Club Bush – Betta , a wildlife tourism property of CCIL is spread over 20 acres of land in Bandipur in Karnataka. With an investment of over 100 crores, CCIL aims to set international tourism standards in the lap of this thick forest which was haunted by Veerapppan for so many years.
The two-day schedule at CCIL Bush-Betta included open jeep safari through the thick jungles of bandipur, mothering around 70 tigers, 3000 elephants and an abundance of Sambar, Wild Dogs, Bisons, Deers, Wild Boar and Langurs. The adventurous open jeep safari witnessed some of these exotic and rare species, like wild elephants & deers in herds, bisons, sambhar deer, peacocks, some rare birds like Did-You-Do-It and Jade, etc.
The celebration by evening culminated into a colorful cultural evening the jungle way with bonfire and local tribal dances in their colorful attires, different make up and mesmerizing music with the heart thumping beats on their tribal dhols, swayed along on their bets were Pooja Bedi, Chaiman Mr.Reddy along with and the members of CCIL. The Country Club in its tourism package also promotes the local culture and traditions to give the complete flavor of the place. The evening also had some fun activities for its distinguished guests joining in for the celebrations like mehendi, tattoing, games and delicious food. The most thrilling experience was the night drive in the pitch-dark jungle to enjoy the nightlife of some of nocturnal birds and animals, which also included the chase to find the king of the jungle (Tigers).
The second day was the energizing & exciting trek the members had with Ms. Bedi, and no one could match her high energy levels. The celebration was full of fun, excitement, adventure and Just Pooja. Everybody went wild, the tribal way to enjoy the sprawling wilderness of these beautiful jungles.
Mr. Y. Rajeev Reddy, Chairman, CCIL, in his address said, ” Today as we mark the first anniversary celebrations of ‘Bush Betta’, now an investment of Rs 100 crore would go in expanding room capacity to 160 from current 60, also a spa facility, tents and a telescope would be added soon. We are bound to give more to our members, new locations and destinations. ”
