Jaan-E-Mann makers await Diwali release


MUMBAI: Sajid Nadiadwala’s Jaan-E-Mann has been in the news right from the day it started. The buzz just got bigger with coming together of actors like Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar who lit up the screen together in Mujhse Shaadi Karogi in 2004.


 


What’s more, the film is being produced by Sajid Nadiadwala who has had a consistent strings of blockbusters starting with Waqt Hamara Hain, Jeet, Judwaa, Har Dil Jo Pyaar Kareega and Mujhse Shaadi Karogi.


 


Directed by Shirish Kundar, Jaan-E-Mann has been made on a budget of Rs 350 million (Rs 35 crore).


 


“People will be pleasantly surprised when they see Shirish’s film. It is a visual delight, the emotions are right. It has a very unique method of story telling and it is a romantic musical, which the audience prefers in the festival season,” says Nadiadwala.


 


For Jaan-E-Mann, the distributors have got 250 plus screens in the Mumbai territory alone.


 


The trailer of the film has been made on a budget of Rs 4 million (Rs 40 lakh). “I didn’t mind spending Rs 4 million on the promo of Jaan-E-Mann because big things need big money. A quality product has to be marketed well. That is my commitment and belief in the film,” says Nadiadwala.
