PRESS RELEASE
Top supermodel Gautam Kapoor, who had leading designers running after his super chiseled frame during his modeling days, is now making moves into the hallowed halls of Bollywood. Star of many prestigious campaigns, ramp shows and music videos, Gautam it seems, has a certain affiliation to the letter M, as all his three Bollywood films start with that letter!
His first film, My Brother Nikhil by Onir, got him into the limelight, where he played the unconventional role of a professor and Juhi Chawla’s husband, being a pillar of support during crisis.
Next in his kitty are two other meaningful films, Metro and Marathon. In Anurag Basu’s Metro, Gautam plays the character of a trendy and popular Radio Jockey, his interaction with those who touch his life and the final twist of fate which leads to a shocking revelation. The woman who comes into his life is a simple girl (played by Konkona Sen) who is the one who forces him to accept reality.
In Marathon, directed by Nisha Chainani he plays an affluent advertising magnate opposite Mandira Bedi (another M factor!) and the story revolves around the complexities of a relationship and marital boredom.
Wow, this model is certainly going places, and with such an intelligent choice of films, we are sure the M factor will work wonders for this already super talented man!
