MUMBAI: Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan and producer Dinesh Vijan (Being Cyrus) have joined hands to set up a movie production house called Illuminati Films Pvt Ltd.
According to an official release, the company is aiming at exploring various genres of “commercial and intellectually stimulating cinema”. The success of the critically acclaimed film, Being Cyrus paved the way for a successful working relationship between the two and with this endeavor; the duo plan to explore varied audiences.
Says Khan, “Dinesh is a very dear friend, and the basic platform for Illuminati is the like minded perspective and ideology that Dinesh and I share, with regard to cinema.”
Vijan adds, “It is a challenge to cater to this new generation of cinema, which is in constant need of change and I could think of no better partner than an evolved actor like Saif. I am really looking forward to the dawn of Illuminati’s first project.”
