Frankfinn Music to launch Pak singer’s album


MUMBAI: Frankfinn Music will launch Pakistani singer Ali Zafar’s album Masty on 20 February 2007.


Ali Zafar, who has penned, composed and rendered the entire album, has won the Best Music Album at the Lux Style Awards 2004, the Best Debut Artiste at the Indus Music Awards 2004, the Best Album at the Indus Music Awards 2004, and the Best Pop Music Album in Pakistan at the Asian Bollywood Music Awards 2005.


Says Zafar, “If my music helps even a single soul to accomplish his dream, my job is done. The album is dedicated to all my fans and friends who loved and supported me.”


Zafar’s first album was Huqa Pani, which was released in Pakistan in 2003 and worldwide in 2005. It sold over five million copies and put him in the league of popular artistes. Zafar has been to 11 countries and performed more than 200 shows. The song ‘Dillagi Mein Jo Beet Jaaye Zindagi’ from his album Rangeen has also been used for the Hindi film Aashiq Banaya Aapne, he says.


Frankfinn Music has earlier produced and released Ranjhan Yaar by Micky Narula and Aaja Pyar Kar Le featuring Nic ‘n’ Niole and others.
