MUMBAI: Bhojpuri film star Manoj Tiwari ‘Mridul’ will not just play the lead in forthcoming film Purab – The man from East, he has also penned the dialogues for the film, along with Abhay Aditya Singh, the film’s writer-director.

The film is being produced by M Murtuza and is being readied for an early release.

Tiwari says, “North Indians, especially people from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, will get the fragrance of their soil with this film. I play the man from the East – Purab, and his nine other friends who are jobless, fall prey to the mayhem unleashed by the villain, played by Nirmal Pandey. Saadhika plays the female lead.”
