MUMBAI: Aamir Khan Productions’ remake of Tamil film Gajini is not titled Kajri declares an official statement from the company. Further it specifies that the producers of the film never intended the title to be so.
The film is currently being shot in Mumbai. It is directed by A R Murugdass who had also directed the Tamil version Gajini.
Recently a media report referred the film as Kajri and mentioned a legal dispute over its title. As of now the film is unnamed and the creative team of the film is contemplating upon a suitable title for the Hindi remake. The title will be formally communicated when finalised.
“We were surprised how it was assumed that our film is titled Kajri. We don’t have a title as of now and we are considering three to four options,” said an authorized spokesperson from the production team of the film.
The film is scheduled to complete by October.
