Katy Perry seems to be in the best of her spirits. She claims to have taken extreme measures to ensure that her halftime performance at Sunday’s (1st February) Super Bowl XLIX to be held at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Ariz, gets the audience grooving to the music. At a press conference held on 29th January 2015, Thursday, the pop star announced that Lenny Kravitz would be working on her set, and costumes will be designed by Jeremy Scott which would include tons of animal prints – “lion and sharks”, to be more specific. She ensured her audience that most of her performance would be live, rather than lip-synching or pre-recorded vocals, and that she would be accompanied by an additional guest performer.

Katy refused to reveal the name, but promised to create a real “female fun night, a bit of old-school.” The singer further disclosed that in her attempt to achieve perfection, she had even requested advice from Bruno Mars, her friend who delivered last year’s Super Bowl halftime act.
Though Katy is not a football enthusiast, she admitted to have a bias for Seattle Seahawks, rather than New England Patriots, because of her friendship with Russell Wilson.
