Actor Akshay Kumar who is a brilliant actor, an amazing action star and also an extraordinary cook might soon be returning back to the small screen. Reportedly, talks of roping in Akshay Kumar for hosting the season finale of this year’s MasterChef India season 4 is in process.

MasterChef India, which started with Akshay Kumar being the ‘maha-judge’ for the first season, is now at the final stages of its 4th season. Judges and hosts of the culinary show experts Sanjeev Kapoor, Vikas Khanna and Ranveer Brar will be seen in the finale that is set to air on April 12. Makers of the Star Plus show are confident that Akshay will be on board for the show as the actor shares a long-term relationship with the channel and also due to his love for food.
If rumours are to be believed PK actor Aamir Khan is also being approached to be a part of the finale of the cooking show as a judge. Aamir Khan who recently decided to turn vegan is a perfect pick for the finale of the show MasterChef that introduced a vegetarian twist to its format in season 4.

Earlier Akshay Kumar was supposed to host season 5 of MasterChef as maha-judge but the actor had to back out due to prior commitment issues. Akshay is currently working on his film Gabbar Is Back and Airlift set to release soon this year.
