MUMBAI: Walt Disney Television International- India (WDTVI) has appointed Sunil Shahani as the head of affiliate relations for Disney Channel, Jetix and Hungama TV.
The announcement was made by Walt Disney Television India senior vice president and managing director Antoine Villeneuve.
Shahani takes on the affiliate relations role in addition to his current assignment as head of finance for the Walt Disney Company (India). He will work closely with WDTVI-I distribution partner, Star India to manage all aspects of cable and satellite distribution and network development in the country.
Villeneuve said, “We are glad to announce Sunil’s extended role in the company to further strengthening our TV business in India. We are confident that his expertise and acumen will propel our business efforts in this immensely exciting market.â€
