After leaving his band One Direction last month, Zayn Malik is prepping up to start a career in film industry. Yes, if reports are anywhere to be true, the very talented 22 years old star, Zayn Malik might feature in Bend It Like Beckham director Gurinder Chadha‘s next.

The two met each other and spoke about films at large. Director Gurinder Chadha revealed, “We’ve met and spoken. He trained as an actor first then became part of the band. So I think what he’ll be doing is staying true to his heart – and that’s all you can ever do.”
Well, it’ll be really amazing to see Zayn’s acting skills on the big screens. However, the director confessed that she would love to work with the star but she doesn’t have a role for Zayn just yet.
“I don’t have a part in mind for Zayn just yet but hopefully in the future,” she concluded.

Recently, the singer confessed to being a huge Bollywood fan and also admitted that he’s always been a ‘lover boy’ and that he learned the talent of charming the ladies by watching his favourite film Bombay while growing up.
