Sony Music Entertainment acquires the music rights of Dharma Productions’ action – drama filmBrothers. Directed by Karan Malhotra, after Ageneepath, this is the second time the successful team of – Dharma Productions, Sony Music, Karan Malhotra, Ajay-Atul & Amitabh Bhattacharya will be working together.
Brothers is about two brothers David Fernandes (Akshay Kumar) and Monty Fernandes (Sidharth Malhotra) come face to face for a boxing fight for their love and family. Akshay Kumar, who plays the role of David in the film, quits his Physics teacher job and joins boxing to become a full time fighter while estranged brother Sidharth Malhotra gets famous by his one viral video of boxing.
Kick actress Jacqueline Fernandez who plays the role of Akshay Kumar’s wife fights for her daughter’s illness who is suffering from kidney weakness. Actor Jackie Shroff who is father of the two estranged brothers encourages his son Monty to become a fighter.

The story is all about two brothers and two fighters who ultimately lead to fight with each other for love hatred and family. It’s a story of a love that got marked with hatred and that hatred went so strong that it ultimately turned blood against blood fight.
Well, must say the film is quite intense and for the first time Sidharth Malhotra will be seen in a powerful role while Akshay Kumar comes up again with his genre film without failing to do a justice to his role in the film. Trailer has already impressed us, all we can say is time will tell if audiences really liked it and how great it will make a Box office hit.
The film is an official remake of the 2011 Hollywood film Warrior. It stars Akshay Kumar, Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez in lead roles, while Jackie Shroff will be seen in supporting role.
This hugely anticipated project surely promises great music and the association of Sony Music will definitely get the music dominating all charts.
