Ranveer Singh's Befikre And Shah Rukh Khan's DDLJ Have A Similarity!

Aditya Chopra, whose debut film as a director ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’ has completed 20 years on October 20, is making his directorial comeback after 7 years with ‘Befikre’ starring Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor. The movie is light-hearted romance.

Aditya Chopra’s directorial debut DDLJ was released on October 20, 2015. 20 years later the prep work of his next film has started in Paris, where the movie will be shot. The announcement of the prep was made on Yash Raj Films’ official Facebook page.

After that, the production house took a different and innovative way of announcing its lead cast. They announced the lead actor of the film by a video blog. Ranveer Singh filmed himself in Yash Raj Studio expressing his joy of bagging the role. He spoke about how his journey started in YRF banner with the movie, Band Baaja Baarat, 5 years ago. The news was overwhelming for Ranveer and he started crying. The announcement was a very cute.

Vaani Kapoor, who made her debut in YRF banner ‘Shudh Desi Romance’, also shared her story about her Bollywood journey. She confessed after her first movie she was confident that her office would be flooded with projects. But, things didn’t go as expected. Around that time, Aditya Chopra made her go through intense auditions and told her that he is signing her for his next directorial venture.
