MUMBAI: Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi will be watching UTV Motion Pictures’ firthcoming film Wednesday.
Neeraj Pandey, the director of the film and Anupam Kher who plays the police commissioner in the film, will fly down to Gandhi Nagar to show the film to Modi.
UTV Motion Pictures CEO Siddharth Roy Kapur says, "We are happy to arrange a screening of Wednesday for the CM of Gujarat. It is an important film about some of the burning issues of today and we would be happy if it inspires discussion, debate and action."
Wednesday tells the story of certain events that unfold between 2 and 6 pm on a particular Wednesday when Mumbai Commissioner of Police Prakash Rathod (played by Anupam Kher) gets a call demanding the release of four militants in lieu of information on bombs that the man has planted in various parts of the city.
