Eros International to showcase three films at Cannes Film Festival

MUMBAI: Eros International will be showcasing its forthcoming films like Kambakkht Ishq, Love Aaj Kal and Aladin at the Cannes Film Festival.

Kambakkht Ishq produced by Sajid Nadiadwala will signify the first ever Indian film to feature both Indian stars and Hollywood talent on one cinematic canvas. The movie stars Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor, with supporting performances by Hollywood actors like Sylvester Stallone, Brandon Routh and Denise Richards.

On the other hand, Love Aaj Kal will set a new precedent for the love story sub-genre for which Indian cinema is famous. Love Aaj Kal directed by Imtiaz Ali also marks Eros International’s association with Saif Ali Khan’s company Illuminati Films.

Aladin is a family adventure heralding a modern day adaptation of an age old story. The star cast includes Amitabh Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, Sanjay Dutt and debutante Jacqueline Fernandez and has been directed by Sujoy Ghosh. The visual effects for the film have emerged from EyeQube Studio, an Eros International company headed by Charles Darby.
