MUMBAI: After all the brouhaha about walking out of film maker Revathy’s film, R. Madhavan is back in business and will be doing the film that has Ayesha Takia, Jaya Bachchan and Raveena Tandon in the lead.
Titled Aapke Liye Hum, the film maker always wanted Madhavan to be a part of her film. But Madhavan after agreeing to do the film, suddenly felt that it was too women oriented and his role of no big significance. He decided to walk out of the project even as the film went on to the floors.
According to a source, "We were in a fix as the film had started and we did not have a male lead. But after a lot of discussions, Madhavan has agreed to play the role that he was assigned. Since the story has a parallel love triangle, Sonu Sood is playing the other hero in the film."
Aapke Liye Hum is the story of a young woman who adopts a mother and then has to fight a legal battle with her son. Ayesha Takia plays the young woman while Jaya Bachchan enacts the role of the mother.
The film’s second schedule will be starting from 27 May in Mumbai. It is being produced by Hari Om Sai Productions and is presented by Amitabh Bachchan’s AB Corp.
