Ahuja was produced in Andheri court this afternoon and has been booked on three accounts – for rape under Section 376, for wrongful restraint under Section 339 and for threatening another person under Section 506.
Ahuja was represented by his lawyer Shrikant Shivade and the case was heard by Magistrate P K Choudhury.
On Sunday evening Ahuja’s domestic help launched a complaint at the Oshiwara Police Station alleging she was raped by the actor. The medical report of the maid reportedly suggest that she was sexually abused. Ahuja was also sent for medical examination.
Ahuja has acted in 13 movies like Gangster, Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi, Life… In A Metro, Khoya Khoya Chand and Woh Lamhe amongst others.
He recently also bagged a Hollywood film project called Sliver Chord, which is to be directed by James Ordonez and stars Val Kilmer. The Hindi films he has in his kitty are Sudhir Mishra’s Accident opposite Soha Ali Khan and Jahnu Barua’s Har Pall.
Ahuja is married and has a two year old daughter.
