The former Miss Universe was pursuing dreams of opening her own production house to make a period film on Jhansi Ki Rani. However, it was a futile effort as the film never took off from the scripting stage and Sush made more news of her weight gain than anything else. However, now the actress is back with two films ready up her sleeve. The much delayed Dulha Mil Gaya will release this year, but the ace up her sleeve is Anees Bazme’s No Problem, which she has just finished shooting for. This film will certainly bring her back in the limelight.
Fardeen Khan
The nawabi Khan was out of action for more than a year as he was busy tending to his father, Feroz Khan’s failing health. But with Life Partner getting a good response and three more films up for release like All The Best, Dulha Mil Gaya and Acid Factory this year, FK is all set to make his presence felt.
Lara Dutta
Yet another former beauty queen is setting the television screens ablaze with her sensuous looks in Anthony D’Souza’s Blue. Lara Dutta in her peach coloured bikini swimming underwater in a romantic sequence with Sanjay Dutt is certainly making Kylie Minogue look like the girl next door. Minogue has a song and dance number in the film. With her confidence, one expects Lara to make the most of this start.
Sanjay Dutt
Talking of Sanjay Dutt, the actor has been making more news of his marriage to Manyaata Dutt and the subsequent family feuds than his films. But Dutt is back with Blue and All The Best, and has just wrapped up shooting for Anees Bazme’s No Problem.
Dia Mirza
Another beauty queen Dia Mirza is all set to shed her goody two shoes image with her performance in Acid Factory. Hard as nails and determined to get what she wants will be a new avatar for Dia who has been missing in action for some time. Come 2 October, we will see whether this character can spice up her acting career.
Rani Mukherji
Rani Mukherji was last seen in public promoting Laagi Chunari Mein Daag, two years ago. The failure of her films like Thoda Pyar Thoda Magic and Laagi Chunari Mein Daag, made the actress go in for some much needed introspection. A rejuvenated Rani, after losing several kilos, is back in business doing her bit to excite audiences to see her latest, Dil Bole Hadippa, which releases next week.
