Sony Music, Vishesh Films launch music of Tum Mile

MUMBAI: Sony Music and Vishesh Films launched the music of Tum Mile recently in Mumbai.

The cast and crew of the film including Emraan Hashmi, Soha Ali Khan, Mahesh Bhatt and director Kunal Deshmukh along with Sony Music MD Shridhar Subramaniam were present at the launch along with music director Pritam singers Neeraj Shridhar, Mohit Chauhan and Javed Ali.

Producer – director Mahesh Bhatt said, "Vishesh Films has always catered and concentrated on quality music and our collaboration with Sony Music has given some of the biggest chartbusters like Jannat& Raaz – The Mystery Continues. Tum Mile is going to be the music of the year. This is Pritam’s best album till date and I must say he has given an all new sound and feel to it. After giving chartbuster music for our films Gangster, Woh Lamhe, Awarapan and Jannat, Pritam is yet again on the road to another smash hit album."

"Tum Mile is one of my finest creations till date. The USP of the music is its freshness. Also for the first time in my life I have not used any remixes. All the songs are different and the lyrics really convey the mood. I hope it is cherished for years to come," said Pritam.

Tum Mile is a love story set in the background of 26 July, 2005 Mumbai Floods. It is about two people who meet after 6 years.What starts off as a seemingly innocuous encounter on the same flight back to Mumbai, ends up as a rollercoaster ride through some of the darkest hours of Mumbai, as they see the city get swamped with disaster and loss. They are forced to stick together in this time of crisis.

The film has been directed by Kunal Deshmukh. The lyrics in Tum Mile are by Sayeed Quadri & Kumaar.
