MUMBAI: Pop star Beyonce won the maximum awards at the recently held Grammy Awards ceremony. She took home six awards.

Beyonce has set a new record for the most awards won in a single year by a solo female artiste.

Nominated for10 categories, her awards included Song of the Year- Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It),Best Female Pop Vocal Performance- Halo, Best Female R&B Vocal Performance- Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It), Best Traditional R&B Vocal Performance- At Last, Best R&B Song- Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It), Best Contemporary R&B Album- I Am… Sasha Fierce.
