MUMBAI: Sony BMG has launched the music of MS Sathyu’s upcoming film Ijjodu.
The launch was attended by the star cast – Meera Jasmine and Aniruddh, director MS Sathyu, music director Manikanth Kadri and Kannada film stars Sudeep, Nagakiran and Sathya.
Sathyu said, “Music is one of the most important aspects of this film. It creates magic and revolves around the story to enhance the screenplay. It’s enchanting and will take you to a different world while experiencing the film.”
Kadri added, “Music is not an acquired culture, it is an active part of natural life. For me, music is in my genes coming from my father the genius, Kadri Gopalanth. I have always strived to be applauded by him and with this film I think I’ve achieved that. It has been an achievement to work with Sathyu Sir. Truly age is not a barrier when it comes to the language of music.”
