MUMBAI: Reliance Broadcast Network’s radio arm 92.7 BIG FM has appointed Sunil Sahjwani as the national programming director.
Sahjwani will work with the corporate team on the programming strategy, its execution and sales enablers. In his current profile, he will work with 92.7 BIG FM business head Soumen Choudhury.
Sahjwani began his career in advertising where he spent over a decade with leaders in the market like RK Swamy BBDO and Genesis among others. He was responsible for launching Channel V in India. He has also been CEO and Percept Picture Company creative director .His last assignment was with the Bennett Coleman Group as chief creative consultant.
Choudhury said, “Sunil’s expertise lies in building on ideas through careful observation of business models that could range from a road side chai-walla to an successful businessman. His uncanny ability to understand the pulse of the audience and thereby tailor make entertainment and music that they seek, promises to give the Company an edge that will allow them to offer listeners across the country an acoustic treat that they can look forward to, and advertisers the best media platform to reach out to their audiences.”
