MUMBAI: Filmmaker Pankaj Advani who has directed movies like Sankat City and Sunday, passed away this morning (11 November) after suffering from a massive heart attack. Advani was 45.
He started his career as a scriptwriter for the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa. He has also directed a movie called Sunday for the Children’s Film Society, India. The movie starred Ratna Pathak-Shah and has also bagged two National Awards.
Advani’s last film was Sankat City, which starred starring Kay Kay Menon, Rimi Sen and Anupam Kher and was released last year.
