MUMBAI: With a view to strengthen its leadership and to bring in a new level of excellence in its operations and marketing strategies, Radio Mirchi has made key changes to the team.
As part of the restructuring, Hitesh Sharma has been promoted as the chief operating officer and Mahesh Shetty has been appointed as chief strategy officer.
Additionally, Yatish Mehrishi will take over as the regional director, North and Sameer Sainani has been promoted as the chief revenue officer, Sriram Kilambi will be head of marketing for ENIL and Anirban Sengupta will head the Mumbai business.
ENIL executive director and CEO Prashant Panday said, "Radio Mirchi is on the cusp of another round of rapid growth – Phase III is going to be a game changer for the industry and we need to ensure that we are fully prepared to make the most of the opportunity."
Hitesh Sharma, who has been with ENIL for the last 8 years, was earlier regional director, West. Hitesh was part of the team that masterminded the successful transition of the company into Phase II.
Mahesh Shetty, who was heading the post of the regional director earlier, will handle the most important role of preparing the company for rapid expansion.
Sameer Sainani, who was earlier the national sales head, has been promoted as the chief revenue officer and will look after all revenue functions such as radio sales, activation, sponsorship and the IP businesses. Sameer, earlier the COO of ENIL’s event business (360 Degrees), has been associated with ENIL over 8 years here.
Sriram Kilambi, earlier the cluster head of Mumbai & MPCG will be head of marketing for ENIL.
Yatish Mehrishi, previously the cluster head of Delhi, Jaipur and Jallandhar, had also been with Pepsi and Motorola in his career spanning 13 years.
Anirban Sengupta who was the cluster head of East will take over. the Mumbai business from Sriram.
