Vivendi Entertainment executive vice president of acquisitions & business development Yolanda Macias saidm "Vivendi Entertainment is committed to implementing new and innovative ways for consumers to enjoy our extensive library of entertainment. And AnyClip does just that by engaging consumers in a way that is truly unique to the entertainment industry."
AnyClip Ltd CEO Oren Nauman added, "When we think about distributing Vivendi’s content or any of our video content, we’re obviously looking at the big entertainment websites but we’re also looking at the opportunity to enhance websites in vertical industries like travel, sports, fashion and dating. With our relevant licensed video clips, we’re offering them a new way to keep users engaged and more importantly — keep them on the site. Our vision is to change the way businesses and consumers think about accessing entertainment online by tagging everything and letting them search for anything."
Among the various Vivendi titles, now available through the AnyClip distribution network, are Kevin Smith’s Zack and Miri Make a Porno, Marcus Dunstan’s The Collector, New York, I Love You, The Basketball Diaries, Grindhouse and the upcoming film That’s What I Am. In addition, Vivendi’s stellar foreign film catalog from various critically acclaimed directors such as Jean-Luc Godard, Takashi Miike, Chan-wook Park and Lars von Trier and select gems from the Roger Corman library are now available.
