Mumbai: PVR has launched its 8 screen multiplex at the Rahul Raj Mall with maximum screen share in Surat. PVR enters the third city of Gujarat after Vadodra and Ahmedabad. With the launch in Surat, PVR today stands at 154 screens in 35 cinemas in 20 cities across India.
The eight screens multiplex has the maximum number of screens in Gujarat with the capacity of 1753 seats. The launch in Surat is a part of PVR’s strategy of pan India expansion and increasing its presence in tier II cities. Audiences in Surat will be treated to a new cinematic wave with 3D screens that PVR Cinemas will offer.
PVR Ltd managing director Ajay Bijli said, "We have launched PVR in Surat keeping in mind the growing needs of the discerning audience for a quality cinema viewing experience. We are happy to increase our footprints in Gujarat as Surat will be the third city. The cinema also boasts of recline, prime and mainstream seating arrangement. The digital 3D screens are packaged to deliver movie magic to the cinema lovers.
