Mumbai: Gali Gali Mein Chor Hai, which is being produced by Nitin Manmohan under the banner of One Up Entertainment Pvt Ltd, will go on floors from 2 September in Bhopal. The film will be shot in old Bhopal in a start to finish schedule.
It is a satirical comment on the condition of common man today. Akshaye Khanna, playing the character of a cashier in a bank, gets in the whirlwind web of common man’s dilemma. His woes range from lack of time to lack of money to lack of connectivity and lack of will to find a way out through bribing. Outcome of his stubborn views are hilarious situations and comical satirical circumstances.
Gali Gali Mein Chor Gai is directed by Rumy Jafry, written by Momukshu Mudgal and has music by Anu Malik. The movie stars Akshaye Khanna, Shriya Saran, Mughda Godse, Annu Kapoor, Satish Kaushik, Akhilendra Mishra, Vijay Raaz, Ashok Samarth, Rajpal Yadav, Shashi Ranjan, Amit Mistry, Vipin Sharma and Arun Verma.
Associate producer is Kaleem Khan, executive producer is Nitin Dara and production executive is Prachi Panchamiya. It’s DOP is Gururaj Jois and art direction is by Jayant Deshmukh.
