Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput is on the top of the mountain after the success of M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story. The biopic on the life of Indian cricketer, Mahendra Singh Dhoni not only made the cash ringing at the box office but it also received a lot of appreciation across the globe. Sushant Singh Rajput is just five films old in Bollywood and the actor has become a household name with his last release based on the life of Indian skipper. The actor made an entry on the big screen with Kai Po Che! (2013).
After walking into the shoes of Dhoni, the actor will now be a part of yet another biopic. Sushant Singh Rajput has been taken on board in an untitled film based on the life of a physically disabled army man-turned-sportsperson, Murlikant Petkar. The athlete had clinched a gold medal for India at the 1970 Commonwealth Games and then at the 1972 Paralympics in Germany.
It seems that Sushant Singh Rajput is impressed with the athlete’s life story. According to the reports, the minute Sushant heard the story he gave a nod to the untitled biopic without having a second thought. The actor found the story very inspiring and he likes to play the characters who dream big. The PK actor wishes to play Petkar on-screen who never allowed his physical hurdles to stand in the way of his dreams.
Sushant Singh Rajput had prepped himself thoroughly for the role of Dhoni and he also mastered his helicopter shot in the same way. With so much effort and dedication, it would be interesting to see the actor play the role of a physically disabled person.
On the work front, Sushant Singh Rajput will be next seen Raabta opposite Kriti Sanon. The film is slated to release on February 10, 2017.
