MUMBAI: It’s official. Eid’s upcoming bollywood feast ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ looks like it could be the best thing this year. After enchanting over 3.5 lakh viewers on its first teaser trailer, the official theatrical trailer has been out for just a few hours and it is already attracting lots of attention. In a neatly packaged 2.45 minute video, the trailer reveals that Salman Khan plays a government agent who is more famously known as ‘Tiger’. Death and destruction surround him. However, his latest assignment is all set to change that.

 

Cut to snapshots from his new assignment; enter Katrina Kaif, a dance teacher called Zoya. As part of the mission, Tiger needs to woo Zoya, but ends up falling in love with her for real. ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ is the perfect package – with serious romantic chemistry between the lead pair, beautiful locations, Salman-style humour, and thrilling action. The sensibilities of Yash Raj films and director Kabir Khan combined could very well be a winning concoction.

 

Salman Khan is part of the Rs 100 crore box office club – all his previous movies have reached this mark in the first week itself. Will ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ continue the trend or will it surpass the numbers? Let’s wait till Eid to find out!
