What started off as an interview byte when Kangana Ranaut said that she doesn’t understand why “exes do silly things” in which she took no one’s name went on to become the murkiest Bollywood drama anyone has seen lately. It even went on to become a legal battle. Post this statement Hrithik Roshan slammed her with legal notices.
But there were reports doing round that the case has been shut due to lack of evidence.
Kangana Ranaut’s legal team even gave a statement on the close of the case as a victory that hasn’t surprised them as there was no imposter Roshan sending her emails. Kangana always maintained that there was no imposter.
However, soon after this development, just when everyone thought the drama is over, the legal team representing Roshan gave out a statement claiming it to be a malice move from the other side with no basis in it.
The statement reads, “Media reports which suggest that the investigation into the Hrithik -Kangana emails is closed, totally false. A section of the media in connivance with Ms Ranaut’s lawyer has sought to disseminate this false information. The investigation in fact continues and Mr Saxena (Joint Commissioner of Police, Crime) has informed Mahesh Jethmalani, Senior Counsel, advising Mr Roshan that the case is not yet closed. Investigation is still going on. It is categorically asserted that there is unimpeachable evidence to suggest that there was no relationship of any kind between Mr Roshan and Ms Ranaut and that Ms Ranaut persistently hounded Mr. Roshan on emails with the intention to entice him into a relationship.”
