The first news was that Hrithik Roshan’s Kaabil and Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees were set to clash on the box office. To avert an event that will prove redundant, there were reports that SRK got himself a meeting with the producer of the film, Rakesh Roshan to put his case and avoid the clash. But apparently Senior Roshan refused to come to a resolve.
Then the two big releases of 2017 were set to be released on the same day. Some days back, it was revealed that Hrithik and Yami Gautam starrer Kaabil will release date was preponed and hence it would release a day before Raees. This was apparently done to avert a direct clash.
But now seems like Raees makers are making sure that it sees the light of the day on the same day as Roshan’s home production, Kaabil.
When Rakesh Roshan was quizzed about this development, he said “Happy to know that they are following me and my business experience.”
Now, they are back to clashing. What do you think about this development? Do you think this will negatively affect the box-office success of both the films or releasing on a holiday weekend will not prove harmful for either of the two films?
Since the trailer of Raees has been out, the audiences are eagerly awaiting the release and already labeling it the big SRK movie!
