I Was Instigated: Pulkit Samrat Speaks Up About Hitting A Photographer
Actor Pulkit Samrat has hit the headlines again and not for good reasons, again! Known for his act in Fukrey, Pulkit’s pictures of hitting a photographer surfaced on media recently. A lot was said and reported about it.
Pulkit came to his own defence and said he only took the step after he was instigated, and it was way more than he could tolerate. The actor who married Salman Khan’s rakhi sister Shweta Rohira in 2014 is going through divorce proceedings.

This happened when Pulkit was leaving a family court in Bandra on Monday after attending a session after estranged wife Rohira filed for divorce. Pulkit was quoted saying to a leading daily, “They instigated and pushed my uncle. That is not done! If you are nice with me, then even I will cooperate.” It is reported that the constantly questioning about his impending divorce made the actor displeased.
“After letting them (photographers) take a couple of pictures, I was heading back with my family when this photographer came and chased us. We requested him to let us go, but he pushed me and my uncle, and even abused us. That’s when I retaliated,” he says.
Is he worried about building a negative image for himself? “Not if the truth is written,” he adds.
His wedding was a much spoken about affair and so was his divorce. It is alleged that the reason of separation is none other than Pulkit’s relationship with his Sanam Re co-star Yami Gautam. The actor has refuted the rumours and even went on a Twitter rant about it after which he deleted his account.
