After calling Salman Khan chhichora, Saba Qamar clarifies her stand.
Saba Qamar, who has established a career in the Pakistani entertainment industry has been in the news regarding an excerpt from a two-year-old Pakistani fun show called ‘Good Morning Zindagi’.
She had called Salman Khan ‘chhichora’, which translates to ‘cheap’. Her shocking comments had grabbed headlines and she faced a severe backlash from the Indian media and of course bhai fans.
Now, the actress is set out to clarify the same. She says, “Good morning Zindagi is a fun show where they ask you fun questions about Bollywood stars. Whatever I said about each of the actors was just for fun at that moment. I love and respect the Indian film industry especially Salman Khan is such a huge star and so humble”
In an interview with indian daily, Actress says, “It was a fun show… There was nothing in it… ‘Koffee With Karan’ mein kya kuchh nahi hota (What all does not happen on Koffee With Karan)… I love everyone, and he’s (Salman) a big superstar and so humble. Why would I say anything bad about him?”
Sabah Qamar is making her debut in Bollywood with Saket Chaudhary’s ‘Hindi Medium’, alongside star Irrfan Khan. The film is scheduled for a worldwide release on March 31, 2017.
