It was a quiet celebration for the couple, who celebrated their 13th wedding anniversary with their near and dear ones. The Khan family was in full attendance to support Salman Khan’s younger brother Arbaaz and his still fantastically well-maintained wife Malaika.
We spotted the superstar family, headed by writer Salim Khan, his wives Salma and Helen, Arpita Khan, Sohail Khan, Amrita Arora with husband Shakeel Ladakh, Alveera Khan with husband Atul Agnihotri and other members of their extended clan. The gorgeous couple was the cynosure of all eyes at this private and exclusive bash, with Malaika choosing to dress in a simple yet elegant olive coloured gown.
Salman Khan made a ‘Dabangg’ entry in a navy blue tee and trousers, hands firmly planted in his pockets to give off that macho, tough guy vibe!
The celebrations were undoubtedly doubly special because Arbaaz has come into his own as a successful producer, and debutant director, and has finally emerged from his big brother Salman Khan’s shadow.
Speaking about what it takes to maintain a marriage, Arbaaz said that his marriage with Malaika is based on “friendship, communication and understanding”. He also said that their relationship is special since it has a deep sense of love and commitment, and the ability to forgive and forget.
Malaika, on the other hand, has always maintained that she feels there is no one formula for a successful marriage. She feels that she and Arbaaz have faced ups and downs in their relationship, but the most important thing is respect for one another and space.
