MUMBAI: After her last outing with DJ group The Chainsmokers for her second single ‘Erase’, Priyanka Chopra is back with her third song. This time she has Pitbull along for company in ‘Exotic’.
‘Exotic’ is Priyanka Chopra’s first song to feature Hindi lyrics. Whereas all her previous singles have had only English lyrics, the new song has lyrics like “Pardesi babu ne iss desi dil ko maan liya hai.”
Now that Priyanka Chopra has had enough partying in her own city, in the song ‘Exotic’ she sings about wanting to hook up with international rap star Pitbull in Cuba, Rio and Miami. Pitbull, on the other hand, refers to his globetrotting abilities by coining a new title for himself: Mr. Worldwide, to go along with Priyanka Chopra’s Ms. World title.
Priyanka Chopra also sings that she is “exotic” and “hotter than the tropics”.
‘Exotic’ has been released just a little over a week after Priyanka Chopra’s father, Dr. Ashok Chopra passed away. ‘Exotic’ is her third single. The first song was ‘In My City’ on which Priyanka Chopra collaborated with hip-hop star will.i.am. The second single was ‘Erase’ on which she sung with The Chainsmokers.
It is anyone’s guess how many more singles Priyanka Chopra will release before she brings out the full album. There is no tentative date for the release of her album as yet.
