MUMBAI: Music composers Sajid-Wajid lost their father, Ustad Sharafat Khan a month ago. (Read Story) The brothers organised a prayer meet for their late father, which was attended by close friends and family. 

There were many friends from Sajid-Wajid’s musical circuit that were present. Lyricist Sameer, Sunidhi Chauhan, Udit Narayan, Bappi Lahiri, Bappa Lahiri, Anu Malik.

Not many big stalwarts from Bollywood were present. Varun Dhawan came with father David Dhawan. Director Prabhudeva too was spotted at the meet. Sajid-Wajid have composed music for Prabhdeva’s directorial ‘Rowdy Rathore’.

While a lot of people turned for the funeral of Ustad Sharafat Khan, the prayer meet was a pretty low-key affair with the absence of many big stars.
