Shah Rukh Khan on Wednesday got conferred with The Happiness Card. The Indian actor has appeared in several Dubai Tourism advertisements. The Happiness Cardholders receive several discounts and access to promotions throughout the emirate during their stay.
The General Directorate of Residency and Foreign Affairs shared the news in the tweet, “GDRFA Dubai extends a warm welcome to Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and presents him with the Happiness Card intending to bring them happiness through various benefits, discounts, and offers.”
Shah Rukh’s love and appreciation for Dubai are widely known. “Dubai has become a second home for me. Something about the city keeps enticing me to return. I am continually astounded by the kindness, hospitality, love, and memories bestowed upon me by Dubai and its people over the years. Dubai is more than just beautiful scenery and opulence; it is an experience.” He has also previously shared, “The city is full of surprises, and each time I visit, I know something new awaits me.”
Keeping up the run of stellar videos, the actor was also entitled the face of a new Dubai Tourism campaign. Khan is famed in an advertisement for dancing along Dubai Creek, shopping at one of the world’s largest malls, and exploring the newly opened Museum of the Future.
On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan will star alongside Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in Pathaan. His other upcoming projects are Atlee’s and Rajkumar Hirani’s next high-budget anticipated movies.
