Directed by Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru, Kangana Ranaut and Sunny Deol’s rom- com, ‘I Love NY’ is going to release on July 3, 2015. Produced by T-series, the planned release date of the film was two years back in December 30, 2013.
According to reports, Kangana Ranaut was shocked when she got to know that the film was releasing now as T-series owner Bhushan Kumar has conveyed to her that the film will not release as it was not up to the mark according to him.
Reportedly, the actress was miffed and shocked when it came to her that the film is being released without her permission. She even reached out to Bhushan Kumar to ask him that how can he randomly release the film without her concern. The producer had not decided to release the film before but now he has gone ahead and announced the releasing date.
Kangana Ranaut is surely furious about the step taken by T-series without her permission, as she has also not seen trailer of the film yet. In fact, she hasn’t even been asked to promote the film.
Seems like Bhushan Kumar has used his brains on right time as the actress is already riding high on success with her back to back hits from ‘Queen’ to recently released ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’. Reportedly, if the matter doesn’t get resolved, Kangana will take legal action against the makers and send them a notice.
The film was extensively shot in Mumbai, New York City and Bangkok. The main plot was taken from Soviet movie “The Irony of Fate”. Now the producer of the film T-Series have decided to finally release it on 3rd July 2015 after 2 years of delay post success of Kangana Ranaut’s Tanu weds Manu Returns.
